Design a monitoring system for monitoring applications. Constraint: There is an existing timeseries DB that you must use. The rows inserted in timeseries DB will have arbitrary integer ids. You need to map the events to the ids. Need to design a scalable ingestion pipeline that can handle billions of events and a querying layer that can query the data from the timeseries DB.
